November 2013 Meeting
PTO talked about having a Teacher Appreciation Lunch the day of the Winter Program, so PTO members will bring in food and drinks for the teachers that afternoon for lunch. We spoke more about our student directory that we are trying to get put together. PTO again this year will purchase the candy bars Santa hands out at the Winter Program and will arrange the time for Santa to arrive. Santa's Villiage will be held again this year and will run the week of the Winter Program.

September 11, 2013 meeting
Lostant PTO had a great meeting tonight to start the year. We discussed doing a Bulb Sale, Pie Sale, Santa's Village and Spirit Wear for fall/winter this year. Please check back for dates and further details. We also discussed purchasing BrainPop and Spelling City for the students and donating a portion of the money needed to renew the Scholastic News for the students.
With our Labels for Education we were able to purchase 12 balls for recess (kickballs and soccer) and will be purchasing a net. We also earned 40 books for the school through Sunny Delight.

2013/14 School Year
The 2013/14 school year is about to start at Lostant School, so PTO meetings will be resuming again in September. Remember to check our important dates tab to see if there are meeting dates you will be able to attend. We hope to see a lot of new members for PTO this fall. Please remember that we always like to add members and would appreciate all the parent involvement and opinions we can get to help better our children's learning environment.

May 6, 2013 meeting
Last meeting of the 2012/2013 school year, we will meet again on 9/11/13.
The bulb sale was a success, 162 items were sold and we raised $578.34. Thank you for everyone who participated!
At our meeting we spoke about the Teacher Appreciation Lunch we would be doing on May 8th and 9th. We also spoke about giving an appreciation gift to each teacher at the school.
Next year meetings will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the school cafeteria.

April 8th Meeting
At the April PTO meeting we discussed our final fundraiser for the spring semester which will be a spring bulb sale. Flyers will be sent home with the children soon.
The Easter Egg Hunt was a success again this year. We collected enough candy for all the small children that participated in the hunt and also enough for the Jr High kids and even some to give to the teachers. Thank you everyone who donated candy or their time to help with this event.

The Pie Toss will be held on 4/19 at 2:45. All students that sold a pie during the Pie Sale will be able to attend. Also, any students wanting to attend that did not sell a pie can pay a $1 admission fee to watch the event.
